Jamie Dornan has been confirmed to star opposite Zoë Kravitz and Adèle Exarchopoulos in Megan Park’s yet-to-be-titled mystery film, a project that already has some of the sharpest names in the business attached to it. Park will direct, write the screenplay and serve as an executive producer, while FilmNation, Apple Studios and LuckyChap are producing.
The casting matters now because it puts Dornan, Kravitz and Exarchopoulos into one untitled film that is clearly being built as a high-profile play, even though its plot is still being kept under wraps. For Dornan, it adds another major title to a packed slate that already includes The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, Love Is Not the Answer, The Turning Door and the mystery project itself, along with the television series 12 12 12 and The Undertow.
Kravitz also has another film moving ahead, with the upcoming action-comedy heist picture How to Rob a Bank. That makes the new Megan Park project a fresh stop on a busy run for both leads, even if no one is saying what any of them will be playing.
That silence is the point of friction. The film has a director, a screenplay, three named stars and three production banners, but no title, no character details and no plot to explain why these three belong together. The package is strong enough to signal ambition, yet sealed enough to leave the main question unresolved: what kind of movie Park is making, and which role will turn Dornan, Kravitz or Exarchopoulos into its center of gravity?
For now, the answer is simply that the project is moving forward with marquee casting and major backing, and the next thing to watch is whether the film finally reveals what story those names are attached to.
