Savannah Chrisley’s private life just became public in two parts: she said on October 27, 2025 that she is pregnant and engaged, and reports later identified her fiancé as Jason Galanis. The reveal landed months after the pair bought a $2.2 million Nashville home in February, putting a major housing purchase on the same timeline as a new family milestone.

The timing matters because the home came first. Built in 2023, the 5,207-square-foot property has five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, two fireplaces, wood and marble floors, walk-in closets, a chef’s kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, a patio, a balcony and a two-car garage. It was first listed for $2.9 million in June 2025, which means the February sale closed below the asking price that appeared months later. In plain terms, the couple bought before the broader public knew the relationship had reached engagement or pregnancy.

Chrisley, known from Chrisley Knows Best, has now turned what had been a quiet relationship into an open one. On her podcast Unlocked, she said she does not care about the large age gap between herself and Galanis, who is 56 to her 29. She also said the engagement came about five months into the relationship and that there was no pressure when he gave her the ring. That is part of why she kept much of it private: she said she knew the public could be brutal, even as she argued that timing means nothing and that she has found the person she wants to build with.

There is still one question that matters more than the gossip around the reveal: why buy the house in February if the engagement and pregnancy were kept offstage until October? The facts do not show a dramatic mystery so much as a couple moving on their own schedule, with a pardon for Galanis in March and later pardons for Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley adding another layer to an already unusual year. For now, the clearest answer is that the home purchase was not a response to the public announcement. It was already in place before the announcement ever arrived.
