She says that detail had bothered her for years, and when Murray was away filming, she called the friend herself. He asked why she had not reached out sooner, then told her everything he knew about the women Murray had been seeing, including girls she knew and many she did not.
Bush writes that the number was not the point. The shock, she says, was hearing that the cheating involved more than one person and that the information had been sitting just out of reach while the marriage was still new. Her account does not identify the friend, and it does not say how long the friend had been aware of the alleged affairs before speaking up.
The marriage was already part of public history. Bush filed for an annulment in February 2006, citing fraud, but the request was denied, and their divorce was finalized in December 2006. The two continued working together on One Tree Hill until Murray exited the role in 2009. Bush is now married to Ashlyn Harris, whom she secretly wed in the summer of 2025, while Murray has been married to Sarah Roemer since September 2014 and they share three children.
