Comedy Central will air the next South Park Season 29 episode, “Guinea Pig on a Stick,” at 10 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 28. The new installment will then be available on multiple streaming platforms on Thursday.
The setup is unusually direct: South America’s beef has become highly prized, and the four boys are fighting to keep it in local hands. That alone makes the episode easy to spot in a crowded TV week, and it gives fans a clean reason to be looking for the South Park new episode now rather than later.
The timing matters because this is not just any weekly drop. South Park has six Emmys for outstanding animated program, hit new rating highs last year and had its most-watched season in six years. Its Season 29 premiere drew 4.2 million multiplatform viewers across Paramount+ and Comedy Central in its first three days in the U.S., a sign that the series is still pulling attention as it approaches its 30th anniversary.
There is also a small mismatch built into the date. An episode landing on Oct. 28 naturally invites Halloween assumptions, but the description does not call it one. Instead, the focus stays on the beef plot and on a season that has leaned into the lives of Stan, Kyle, Eric and a kid-size Randy, with Kid Randy appearing to be replacing Kenny in the show’s quartet. That shift is part of what gives the new run its current shape.
So the answer is simple enough: the new episode arrives Wednesday night, and if viewers miss it on Comedy Central, it will turn up on streaming the next day. What remains less clear is whether the late-October slot is a seasonal coincidence or a deliberate nod to Oct. 31, because the network has not said so in the episode description.
