Blizzard has given every playable race in World of Warcraft: Forever a final balance pass on its unique abilities before launch. The move is the last gameplay adjustment now known for the game, and it lands with no published breakdown of which races were changed or how the numbers were shifted.
That matters because this is the sort of update players look for right as a launch approaches: the point when class and race choices stop being theory and become the version that ships. For readers searching for Wow Forever now, the immediate question is not whether balance changed, but how much Blizzard altered the field before the game goes live.
What is clear is the scope. Blizzard did not single out one race or one ability line; it applied the pass across every playable race, which means the launch-state version is not the same one players had been discussing earlier. In a game built around small edges, even a final adjustment to a race’s unique abilities can change how players weigh their first choice.
What is not clear is the substance. The update leaves the broad promise of fairness intact, but it does not tell players whether any race was strengthened, toned down or simply cleaned up. That missing detail is the gap that matters most, because a blanket balance pass can mean anything from a narrow tuning tweak to a meaningful shift in advantage.
For now, Blizzard’s message is the change itself: every playable race in World of Warcraft: Forever has been touched once more before launch. Players waiting for the full picture will need the next patch note drop to show whether this was a minor polish pass or the version that settles the early race meta.
