Giuliana and Bill Rancic are weighing a move again, this time with their son Duke at the center of the decision. On the Tuesday, October 27 episode of their iHeartRadio podcast, Giuliana said Nashville and Florida are both under consideration before Duke starts high school next fall.

That timing matters because the family is not talking about a vague someday move. They are looking at a decision that could shape where the three of them live during Duke’s high school years, and Giuliana said they want to settle down before that transition arrives. Duke is 14, and his reaction to Nashville has already become part of the calculation.

Giuliana said Nashville has long been one of the cities they have been interested in, and that they visited the city and are considering moving there. She also said Duke has described it as chaotic, which complicates what might otherwise look like a straightforward fit. In her telling, the family is trying to choose a place that feels calmer for a teenager who is old enough to have a strong opinion and young enough that the next few years still matter a great deal.

Florida remains in the mix for different reasons. Giuliana said the couple have talked about it as well because Bill is a boater and they love the water and the weather. That leaves them balancing two different kinds of appeal: Nashville as a city they have long had on their list, and Florida as a place tied to a lifestyle they already enjoy. The question is not whether they can move again; it is which version of home best matches what they say they want for Duke.

The Rancics have moved before. They married in 2007, settled in Chicago to raise Duke after splitting time in the Midwest and Los Angeles, and briefly spent time in Austin, Texas. That history makes this latest round of talk feel less like a random possibility than the next chapter in a family that has never been afraid to uproot when the fit no longer feels right.

What comes next is a choice they have not made public yet: Nashville, Florida, or neither. Giuliana made clear that the family wants Duke to have the best experience possible in the handful of years ahead, and that decision will need to come before next fall, when high school begins.
