Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure is scheduled to close at Tokyo DisneySea from March 9, 2027, through March 16, 2027, before operations are expected to resume on March 17. The eight-day period means guests planning a visit that week will not be able to ride the attraction.
The timing is why the Tokyo Disneyland Peter Pan Ride Closing is drawing attention now. Disney has not said what work will be done during the shutdown, but the closure is brief enough to point to routine maintenance rather than a major overhaul. It also lands during Tokyo DisneySea’s Sparkling Jubilee celebration, which began on April 15, 2026 and is scheduled to continue through March 31, 2027.
Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure only debuted in June 2024 as part of the Fantasy Springs expansion, so the closure comes less than three years after the ride opened. The attraction combines physical sets, 3D animation and a motion-based ride system, and it lasts six minutes using 12-person boats. Disney Premier Access is also available for guests who want to pay to reserve an entry time, making the ride one of the park’s most visible newer offerings.
There is a wrinkle in the calendar. Journey to the Center of the Earth is also scheduled to close on January 8, 2027 and remain unavailable through March 8, 2027, meaning Tokyo DisneySea will be managing more than one attraction outage as the anniversary celebration winds down. That overlap does not explain Peter Pan’s shutdown, but it does show the park is entering a stretch of scheduled work before the end of March.
For now, the key fact is simple: Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure is set to go dark for one week, then reopen on March 17 if the plan does not change. What Disney intends to do during those eight days remains the one question the company has not answered.
