Some iPhone owners can now file claims in Apple’s $250 million Iphone Settlement over delayed Siri and AI features, with payments set at $25 per device before any adjustment based on how many valid claims come in. The claim form deadline is Dec. 21, 2026, and each eligible device can be covered by its own submission.
The settlement search is picking up because the payment rules are finally clear: a valid claim starts at $25 per device and can rise or fall, depending on the total number of approved claims, to as much as $95. That makes the filing count matter to every eligible customer, not just to the overall fund.
To qualify, a customer must be a U.S. resident who bought an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max or any iPhone 16 model between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025. The claimant must also be the original purchaser, not someone who bought the phone secondhand, and businesses may file for devices they bought as well.
Those buyers must also say they expected, at the time of purchase, to receive certain Siri Apple Intelligence features that were not delivered on the device. The lawsuit tied the dispute to Apple’s 2024 rollout of Apple Intelligence and to the integration of ChatGPT with Siri and an emoji tool, which the complaint said fell short of what consumers were led to expect. Apple agreed to the $250 million settlement this spring.
That agreement does not amount to an admission of wrongdoing or liability, even though the case alleged false advertisements about AI capabilities on devices that did not yet have the technology fully integrated. Apple said it resolved the matter to stay focused on delivering products and services, while the claims process now turns that dispute into a deadline-driven filing exercise.
Any eligible customer who wants a payment must submit a complete claim form with current contact information and confirm the device and expectations tied to the purchase. Incomplete or false submissions can be rejected, and the real question now is how many valid claims will be filed before the deadline—and whether the final payout ends up closer to the base $25 or the $95 ceiling.
