BlizzCon 2026 will stream select programming live, but not everything will be available to viewers at home. The Opening Ceremony, major panels, esports competitions and other programming will vary by channel, while musical performances and some other elements will remain exclusive to in-person attendees at the Anaheim Convention Center.
That split matters now because the event’s biggest World of Warcraft competition is set for Sept. 12 and 13, when the Arena World Championship and Mythic Dungeon Invitational Grand Finals will be played live from the convention and share a combined $600,000 prize pool. For fans following from home, the official World of Warcraft Twitch and YouTube channels will show the finals, while World of Warcraft streamers will host meet-and-greet sessions in Hall A for attendees on site.
The schedule gives viewers and attendees a clear choice. Some of the weekend will be open to everyone, but the live experience still holds pieces that cannot be replicated on a screen. That includes the performances, the in-person gatherings and the small details that shape a convention floor, even as Blizzard News pushes key programming to Twitch, YouTube and BlizzCon.com.
There is also a practical deadline built into the event. Eligible Warcraft streams on Twitch can earn rewards during the show, and BlizzCon attendees must link their BlizzCon Pass to their Battle.net Account no later than Sept. 18, 2026 to claim available rewards. Individual BlizzCon Digital Bundles remain available through Sept. 28, 2026 on the Battle.net Shop, giving the weekend a second life after the crowds leave.
BlizzCon 2026 is being framed as a weekend of livestream moments, rewards, esports and celebration for the World of Warcraft community, and the full schedule will be updated after the Opening Ceremony. The unanswered piece is not whether the event will be watchable from home, but which major panels and appearances land on each channel once that update arrives.
