CT Tamburello turned a search for an Emmy Awards plus-one into a public date tease when Phaedra Parks replied, “It’s a date ???,” after he asked followers for help finding someone to bring. The exchange pushed their already flirty back-and-forth into a new round of speculation, even though neither has said they are romantically involved.
Tamburello set it off on August 9, when he shared a photo of Parks from The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 17 reunion on Instagram and wrote that he was still looking for a plus-one for the Emmy Awards. He added, “A man can dream.” Parks answered in the comments, “Baby I’m already yours ???,” and Tamburello reacted with a GIF of Will Smith’s Fresh Prince of Bel-Air character fainting dramatically. Later, he posted a video featuring Parks and wrote, “She said yes,” while thanking the people who had helped put in a good word. Parks then sealed the moment with her own line: “It’s a date ???,” and Tamburello followed with heart-eyes, fire and kissing emojis.
The public teasing fits a pattern for the pair. Tamburello and Parks first became fan favorites when they competed together on Season 2 of The Traitors, and he later called her his “Castle Daddy” counterpart during their time in Scotland. Parks has also been open about wanting another run with him, telling Extra in March 2024 that she would love to work with him again and calling him a great guy and a gentleman. That is part of why the new comments landed with force: they sounded personal, but they still stopped short of a confirmation.
That gap matters because the exchange was detailed enough to look like an outing plan, yet not detailed enough to prove anything beyond a very public flirtation. Parks has called Tamburello “my man” and referred to him as “claimed” while sharing one of his posts, but neither has said the relationship is romantic. For now, the question is not whether they have chemistry. It is whether that chemistry ever turns into an actual appearance together at the Emmy Awards, or whether this stays in the comments where it started.
