The 2026 U.S. Open is set to open at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Aug. 23, with Fan Week getting things started before the main singles draw begins on Aug. 30. The tournament runs through Sept. 13, when the men’s singles final will close out the final Grand Slam of the year.

That schedule matters now because tickets are on sale and fans have to choose between full-price reserved seats, lower-cost grounds access and free entry windows. Individual tickets are available through Ticketmaster, and resale listings are also being offered on Stubhub and Vivid Seats, giving buyers several ways into the event as the calendar turns toward late summer in Flushing Meadows in Queens.

Fans can shop by date and session for Arthur Ashe Stadium, Louis Armstrong Stadium and Grandstand. Ashe tickets guarantee a seat inside Arthur Ashe Stadium for the designated day or evening session, while Grounds Admission offers first-come, first-served access to Louis Armstrong Stadium, Grandstand and the tournament’s field courts. That pass does not include entry into Arthur Ashe Stadium, which is the key limit for anyone trying to keep costs down while still getting inside the tournament grounds.

U.S. Open Fan Week runs Aug. 23-29 and brings free access to the National Tennis Center grounds for qualifying matches, player practices and other events. Adults need to register for a free Fan Access Pass before entering during Fan Week in 2026, a step that matters because the grounds are open without a standard ticket but not without that registration. Reserved tickets are also available for Louis Armstrong Stadium and Grandstand, and a reserved Grandstand ticket also allows access to the general-admission areas of Armstrong and the outside courts, subject to capacity.

There is one more open day built into the schedule: the National Tennis Center grounds will be free and open to the public during the day on Thursday, Sept. 10, even though ticketed matches inside Arthur Ashe Stadium still require admission. The women’s singles final follows on Saturday, Sept. 12, and the men’s final comes a day later, giving fans a full stretch of ticketed and free-entry options before the tournament ends on Sept. 13.
