Tallulah Willis married Justin Acee on Saturday, 8 August, in Sun Valley, Idaho, ending a wedding story that had already turned into a fashion production before the ceremony arrived. The final look was a custom Balenciaga gown by Pierpaolo Piccioli, and it was shown just over a week before the vows.
That is why interest in the Bruce Willis daughter Tallulah wedding has landed now: it was both a family milestone and a rare look inside the making of a couture bridal dress. Tallulah had been working through ideas with Brad Goreski and references for the Balenciaga team, then ended up in a strapless column dress made from silk satin and backed with silk organza, with a draped train, a bow at the back and a veil that took nine hours on its own.
British Vogue joined Tallulah Willis for the final fitting at the Chateau Marmont, where the dress was close enough to completion to show the work behind it. The gown took 712 hours overall, including 405 hours for construction and atelier alterations, while artisans in the Balenciaga atelier handled the embroidery and spent about 60 hours on each individually beaded organza petal. Piccioli’s dress was also one of the first bridal gowns he created after taking over as creative director at Balenciaga.
The fitting also showed how far the dress had moved from the first ideas. Scout joked that Tallulah had gone from Etsy wedding dresses to Balenciaga couture, and Tallulah herself said the original version felt flat across the neckline. She wanted no necklace and nothing up top, only shape, and the neckline ultimately drew on a Balenciaga look Demi Moore wore to the Vanity Fair Oscar party earlier in 2026.
By the morning of the final fitting, Tallulah said she felt almost out of body, with her family around her as the dress came together. She called it a princess moment and said she would never forget it. The one thing left unexplained is why Sun Valley was chosen for the ceremony, but the public part of the story is now complete: the dress was finished, the family saw it, and Tallulah Willis and Justin Acee were married.
