Chick-fil-A will roll out a limited-time fall menu nationwide on August 24, 2026, headlined by new Chicken & Waffles Sandwiches and two S’mores drinks. The launch gives the chain a fresh seasonal push just as late summer turns toward fall.
For Allison Duncan, the point was to make the familiar feel new. She said the company wanted something unique this fall, built around comforting flavors customers already know, but presented in a way that feels playful and unexpected. The company is also tying the release to its yearlong Newstalgia celebration, a campaign built around its 80-year heritage.
The Chicken & Waffles Sandwiches are the most detailed part of the release. Chick-fil-A is offering them in two versions: a breakfast sandwich served from opening until 10:30 a.m., and an entrée version available from 10:30 a.m. to close. The breakfast sandwich uses a smaller chicken filet and waffle, while the entrée version uses a larger one. Both include maple-flavored waffles, a signature Chick-fil-A filet, three strips of applewood smoked bacon, honey butter spread and classic syrup. Guests can also choose Original, Spicy or Grilled filet options.
That mix matters because it shows how Chick-fil-A is trying to straddle two ideas at once. The menu is being framed as a nod to classic flavors, yet it is also being sold as something playful and surprising. That is a delicate balance for a chain built on consistency, especially when the sandwiches are moving from a limited-time test in 2025 to a nationwide rollout less than a year later.
The rest of the fall lineup keeps that approach going. The S’mores Milkshake and S’mores Frosted Coffee join the sandwich release on August 24, extending the seasonal offering across breakfast and later-day service. Chick-fil-A, Inc. says it is the third largest quick-service restaurant company in the United States, and more than 200,000 Team Members work for local Owner-Operators in more than 3,000 restaurants across the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, the UK and Singapore. The company has also linked the campaign to permanent Frosted Sodas and Floats, Classic Cups, merchandise and new packaging.
The immediate takeaway is simple: this is not a teaser, but a dated nationwide launch. Customers who want the fall menu will not have to guess when it arrives. They now have a firm answer, and the only real unknown is how far the company can stretch Newstalgia before a comforting classic starts to feel like a novelty act.
