Netflix says I Will Find You is now tracking toward its Top 10 most popular English series list after pulling in 74.1 million views in 18 days, a pace that has put the Harlan Coben adaptation in the same conversation as the streamer’s biggest hits. Jinny Howe, Netflix’s head of UCAN scripted series, said the company is very proud of how the series has performed and called its audience response a sign that the show is still building around the world.
The timing matters because Netflix is talking up scripted performance while marking 111 Emmy nominations, and the company has been using that moment to frame how its biggest series are holding up. Howe said I Will Find You is “very much tracking to be up there,” which is the kind of line that only lands when the numbers are already doing most of the work.
That push is part of a bigger streak for the streamer. Netflix has now released 13 series adaptations of Coben’s novels across multiple countries, and the pipeline is not slowing down. A show based on the Myron Bolitar books, with Colin Woodell attached to headline, is already in development. For Netflix, the point is not just one strong title. It is a system that keeps producing returns.
There is also a reason Netflix sounds comfortable betting on more. Howe said the company does not broadly see the sharp season-to-season drop-off some viewers have called a sophomore slump as a major problem. She pointed to shows such as Bridgerton as evidence that follow-up seasons can still grow, even as other series such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Four Seasons, A Good Girl’s Guide, Beef and A Man On the Inside saw second-season openings fall by more than 55% year to year, and Running Point’s second season opened 43% below its first before getting renewed for a third.
That leaves the clearest next marker on the board: whether I Will Find You actually breaks into the Top 10. His & Hers is sitting at No. 10 now, so the Coben title does not need a runaway surge to get there. It needs to hold. If it does, Netflix will have another proof point that its thriller playbook is still working, and the show will join a list already crowded with names the streamer keeps returning to.
