Mya says the women behind “” are still on good terms more than 25 years after the hit brought together her, , and Lil' Kim. In an interview, the 46-year-old singer said there is no beef among the four and that a reunion is not off the table.

“We are actually all cool,” Mya said, pushing back on years of rumor and speculation around the group. She said fans are not alone in hoping for another moment like the one that made “Lady Marmalade” a staple of early-2000s pop culture, adding, “The fans are not alone because I am right there with you,” followed by, “Fingers crossed.”

The song was released in 2001 and became part of the “Moulin Rouge!” soundtrack, with the four women brought together for one of the era’s most recognizable collaborations. Mya said any reunion would take more than nostalgia. “It’s just about scheduling, budgeting, planning out the proper platform to support it in a major way,” she said, adding that the performance would have to meet or exceed expectations and that “there are just a lot of logistical aspects to making something like that happen.”

That matters now because the track has resurfaced in a way that has pushed the conversation back into the mainstream. Mya said it is “pretty cool to see things resurface and take a life of their own in the current day,” a sign that the record still has a hold on listeners long after its original release.

The comments also cut against longstanding rumors that Pink and Christina Aguilera clashed while filming the music video. Mya said there was no feud on set, describing the experience as one she enjoyed because she was used to being the only woman on male hip-hop tours or in the room. “I just enjoy being part of that ensemble,” she said. “There was respect and celebration all in one.”

She said the foursome worked as a team despite coming from different backgrounds, genres and solo careers. “We worked together as a team as well which I absolutely loved because it wasn’t just a collaboration with one female artist. It was all of us,” she said, adding that the crowd response when they performed together was “everything.” For now, the reunion is still only a possibility, but Mya’s message was clear: the bond is intact, and if the timing and money line up, the women could still come back together.
