November’s streaming slate just got a lot easier to track. A roundup of 23 new movies landing this month puts Tony, Misty Green and Possible Love at the center of a crowded field that stretches across Netflix, HBO Max and Peacock.

That matters now because the month is already pulling in holiday viewers and awards-watchers at the same time. Netflix is launching several original holiday movies in November, but it is also making room for international contenders such as Possible Love and Gentle Monster, giving subscribers a mix of comfort viewing and prestige titles in one pass.

The biggest draw for many viewers may be Misty Green, which is moving to Netflix after debuting at the Toronto International Film Festival in September and then reaching theaters last month through A24. Rosalind Eleazar leads the film, and the early reaction has centered on her as the kind of breakout turn that can turn a festival title into a must-see streaming pick.

There is also a wrinkle in how the month is being carved up. Misty Green is landing on Netflix even though A24 has an exclusive streaming relationship with HBO Max, a reminder that release pathways can be more flexible than the platform labels suggest. The same roundup places Tony on HBO Max just in time for Thanksgiving; the A24 film, starring Dominic Sessa as Anthony Bourdain, had already taken in nearly $20 million worldwide and was framed as a movie-star performance for Sessa.

Possible Love carries a different kind of momentum. It won the grand jury prize at the Venice Film Festival, stars Jeon Do-yeon, Sul Kyung-gu, Zo In-sung and Cho Yeo-Jeong, and is being treated as a leading contender for a best international film Oscar nomination. Netflix is also positioning it as one of its most visible November releases, which helps explain why the service keeps showing up as the month’s main streaming home.

For viewers who want something bigger over the holiday weekend, Netflix is offering Peter Berg’s The Mosquito Bowl as its original Thanksgiving weekend play. The true-story World War II drama follows four of America’s top college football stars who enlist in the Marines after the attack on Pearl Harbor, with Nicholas Galitzine joining Bill Skarsgård, Ray Nicholson and Tom Francis in the cast. Peacock, meanwhile, is bringing The Uprising online ahead of the holiday movie season, with its story set in the aftermath of the Black Plague.

The list does not give exact release dates for each title, but the shape of the month is clear enough. The strongest new streaming movies in November are arriving in clusters, not one by one, and the result is a schedule built around festival prestige, theatrical leftovers and holiday counterprogramming all at once.
