World of Warcraft: Forever is now live, giving players a new permanent home alongside modern and Classic WoW. The launch opens a version of Azeroth built to carry characters from level 1 to 60 with fresh zones, new quests and first-login choices that change how the game looks and feels.
Players searching for Wow Forever server status are looking for one simple answer: it is up, and it is open now. That matters today because the release is not just a return to old content. It is a new start point set after Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom and before Molten Core, with more than 1,000 new quests spread across the journey and expanded versions of the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor.
The scale of the update is clear in the routes it adds. Mount Hyjal centers on the aftermath of Archimonde’s defeat, Darkwhisper Gorge and a recovering land. Shen’dralas turns toward a hidden mystery between Mulgore and Desolace. The Riverglades brings more than 150 new quests in the mid-30s to mid-40s range, while Zephras Isle serves as an elemental skybound start for levels 1 through 12. World of Warcraft: Forever also introduces the Skyborne, who begin on Zephras Isle and choose at character creation whether they join the Horde or the Alliance.
The release also widens class possibilities in ways that will matter to returning players. Horde-aligned Windshapers can become Shaman, while Alliance-aligned High-Order Skyborne can become Mages. The new ruleset choice adds another layer: on first login, players are asked to choose an Experience Preset before selecting a Ruleset, with one option favoring traditional presentation, simpler visuals, standard character models and fewer interface features, and the other favoring higher visual fidelity and more features. That makes World of Warcraft: Forever both a fresh world and a more configurable one, and the first decision players make may shape how permanent that home feels from the start.
