Elsie Hewitt put Pete Davidson and their daughter Scottie back in the same frame on Halloween, posting a set of family photos on Instagram that showed all three in matching The Sopranos-themed costumes. Hewitt captioned the pictures, “smells like halloween.”
The post is being read closely because it arrives after a public breakup and a very public argument over how much Davidson was helping at home. Hewitt and Davidson welcomed Scottie in December 2025, then split in May after more than a year together. After that, Hewitt said in a TikTok video that she was raising Scottie solo, adding, “I have a baby to take care of. I have to work and make money,” and, “I’m doing it on my own, which is hard.”
On the holiday itself, Hewitt dressed as Christopher Moltisanti, complete with a neck brace and tracksuit jacket, while Davidson went as Paulie “Walnuts” Gualtieri, with gray sides in his hair, a black leather jacket, sunglasses and black pants. Scottie wore a tiny bathrobe, a mini gold watch and a fake cigar as Tony Soprano, and she rode in a Radio Flyer wagon with ducks inside and a neon sign reading “Bada Bing!” The photos turned a messy personal timeline into something that looked, at least for one night, coordinated.
That is why the pictures matter now: they do not answer every question, but they do show Davidson in Scottie’s orbit after Hewitt had framed herself as parenting alone. Friends of Davidson later told Page Six that he was paying for everything related to Elsie and Scottie, including rent, living expenses and health insurance, while a source said he was fully committed to being a good dad. The two reached a joint co-parenting agreement by July, two months after their breakup, and in an exclusive statement they said, “We are cooperatively co-parenting our daughter whose well-being remains our top priority, and we are fully committed to working together to give her love from both of us,” which is the clearest sign yet that the split did not end their parenting arrangement.
Even so, the Halloween post leaves one point unresolved. In August, Hewitt thanked Davidson for Olivia Dean concert tickets and called him her “baby daddy,” but the photos do not say whether the pair are back together romantically or simply presenting a united front for Scottie. For now, the public record points to cooperation, not a reunion.
