You Can See Everything Movie edges Clayface in razor-thin box office race

You Can See Everything Movie finished the weekend in a knife-edge box office race with Clayface, as A24's film was reported at $10.6 million and Warner Bros' release at $10.4 million. The gap was just $200,000, small enough that the No. 1 spot was still not fully settled on Sunday morning.

The reason the film is drawing so much attention now is that the race sat inside a modest domestic frame. The weekend box office totaled an estimated $62.2 million, and both titles stayed above $10 million even as the wider market remained relatively quiet. That made the margin between them the story, not the total.

For Nathan Fielder, the film's reported weekend haul followed a Halloween stretch in which the movie collected $3.58 million from moviegoers, while Clayface won Halloween with $4.2 million. By the weekend, the numbers had tightened enough that some rivals still showed Clayface with the edge, even as Deadline had You Can See Everything ahead. Both films also had healthy run totals behind them: You Can See Everything reached $64 million domestically by week three, while Clayface stood at $44 million by week two.

The twist is that the film's domestic race is happening before its overseas rollout has really begun. You Can See Everything was open in Turkey at 120 locations and was still waiting on releases in Australia and New Zealand on Nov. 12 and in the UK on Nov. 20. That means the box office fight now is being measured almost entirely at home, with only limited international support in view.

Deadline said the battle for No. 1 would continue into tomorrow morning, and that is the part that matters most. The weekend belonged to a close call, not a clean winner, and the final order will hinge on which estimate holds when the numbers settle. For now, You Can See Everything appears to have the edge by the thinnest margin, but the race is close enough that the last update could still decide it.
