The Miami Dolphins visit the New York Jets on Sunday in an NFL Week 7 regular-season matchup at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. ET, giving fans a clear answer to Dolphins vs Jets where to watch by time and place even though the TV or live stream listing is not provided here.
The game matters because Miami arrives in a five-game losing streak and needs a result quickly, while the Jets enter at 2-4 and third in the AFC East. New York has been steadier through six weeks, with a plus-4 turnover margin, 18.7 points per game and 20.3 allowed, while Miami has been outscored 132 to 70 and is averaging only 14.0 points despite 126.6 rushing yards per game.
That contrast is why this matchup has taken on extra weight. The Jets have 17 sacks, have allowed only 1 interception all season and are 1-1 at home, while Miami has just 4 sacks in 5 games and sits last in the AFC East. The numbers point to two teams moving in different directions, even though both still have enough season left for Week 7 to matter.
One reason Miami can still point to something positive is Omar Cooper. Back from injured reserve, he returned with 6 catches for 103 yards and 1 touchdown in his first game back, a sharp individual response in a season where the larger problem has been the offense’s overall production. Malik Willis leads Miami with 849 yards and 2 touchdowns, but the Dolphins’ passing game has not matched the urgency of the standings.
What happens next is simple: the teams meet on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. ET. Until then, the key watch question remains the same one fans are asking now — where the game lands on TV or streaming, and whether Miami can turn a divisional trip into a much-needed stop to its slide.
