Rockstar Games has pulled back the curtain on the GTA VI radio stations, naming the in-game DJs and the music setups players will hear when Grand Theft Auto VI arrives on November 19. The reveal gives a first clear look at how the game plans to split its music between genre-specific stations and the separate soundtrack Rockstar already shared earlier this year.
That matters now because the series has always used radio as part of the ride, not just background noise. Rockstar said previews of each station are already available on its site, and the lineup shows how wide the game’s sound can run before a player even steps out of a car.
Cocoteo FM is the modern Latin station, hosted by Bad Bunny and RaiNao. RaiNao’s comments made the reveal feel more personal than a standard music announcement. She said Cocoteo gets their vibe, slang, taste, pride, experiences, traditions and “all our crazy antics,” and added that lending her voice to GTA VI feels special because it lets her have fun, embody a character like herself and put her culture, music and people in the spotlight. She also said GTA was one of her favorites growing up and described blasting music in a stolen car as “THE VIBE.”
The rest of the stations fill out a broad map of styles. AfroBank FM brings African music from Burna Boy and Palms Trax. Chamber 106.6 is built around classic metal from Kerry King and Tom Araya of Slayer. Flash FM is the pop station led by Robyn and Alex Consani. Dirty South Classics is hosted by Trick Daddy and Trina. Back Country Radio, meanwhile, is the home of renegade country and is led by Morgan Wallen, Lana Del Rey and Jeremy Dufrene.
There is still a gap in the music picture, though. Rockstar already revealed GTA VI’s 34-song soundtrack in September, including original tracks from Travis Scott, Yung Lean and PinkPantheress, which means the game is arriving with a separate pool of music beyond the stations now being pushed into view. That split suggests the in-game radio is only part of the full audio package, even if it is the part players are likely to remember first.
For now, the answer to what fans are getting is straightforward: a named radio network, a separate soundtrack and a release date that is still ahead. The closer GTA VI gets to November 19, the more these stations look like one of the game’s main selling points rather than a side detail.
