Gary Anderson, the gravel-voiced frontman known to fans as Angry Anderson, has died at 79. Rose Tattoo bandmates said on Wednesday that he died on Monday 21 September 2026, surrounded by his loved ones in Australia.
That makes the announcement the latest and final word on a singer whose name had already drawn concern from fans after Rose Tattoo pulled the European leg of its One Last Ride tour.
