Blizzard has set a global launch date for World of Warcraft: Forever and put the first beta window on the calendar, giving the project a firm timeline after months of anticipation. World of Warcraft: Forever will launch worldwide on November 4, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PST, while beta access begins September 17 for selected pre-purchase editions.

That matters now because the game is being sold as a new permanent home alongside modern and Classic WoW, and players who have been waiting for something beyond teasers finally know when they can step in. Access to World of Warcraft: Forever will also be included with a World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time, but the early beta path is narrower: it comes with the Skyborne Epic Pack and the Warcraft Forever Collection, while the Skyborne Heroic Pack stops short of beta and focuses on the new Skyborne race, the Zephras Isle starting experience, Early Name Reservation, the Cerulean Prideclaw ground mount, cosmetics, housing decor and one Invite-A-Friend Launch Code.

The structure of those editions shows how Blizzard is staging the rollout. The Skyborne Epic Pack adds beta access beginning September 17, 30 days of World of Warcraft Game Time starting November 4, extra cosmetics, pets, tabards and three total Invite-A-Friend Launch Codes, while the Warcraft Forever Collection adds everything in that pack plus Warcraft III: Reforged, the Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom campaign, and Forsaken and Human Figurine decor for Housing in modern World of Warcraft. In other words, the game is being framed as a broad, lasting return to Azeroth, but the earliest hands-on look is reserved for the biggest pre-purchase bundles.

World of Warcraft: Forever is set after the events of Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom and before Molten Core, with players returning to the original continents and leveling to 60. Blizzard has also scheduled the World of Warcraft: Forever –Deep Dive panel for Sunday, September 13 at 10:00 am PDT, which should fill in the missing details on what the new stories, experiences and updates will actually look like once the beta opens and the long road to launch begins.
