For viewers who follow these brands, the loss lands differently. Tastemade is built around food programming. Court TV, created by lawyer-journalist Steven Brill, launched in 1991 and became known for wall-to-wall coverage of major trials, including the Menendez brothers and O.J. Simpson cases. The Young Turks traces back to Cenk Uygur's 1995 public-access show The Young Turk, and in 2002 it became Sirius Satellite Radio's first original talk program; today it breaks down current events and political news.
The move appears to be a lineup removal, not a temporary outage. That distinction matters because it means subscribers should expect the channels to disappear from live TV and from library recordings tied to them on September 30, 2026, even as some clips and other select material remain available on YouTube.
