Starz has set the P-Valley Final Season Release Date for December 4, putting the third and last chapter of Katori Hall’s series back on screen with two back-to-back episodes. The nine-episode run will close out a show that began on television in 2020 and is now ending on its own terms.

That date matters now because fans have waited four years since Season 2 wrapped on August 14, 2022, and the new season arrives with the promise of a finish rather than another pause. Hall said the time had come to end the story after 17 years of living with it, and she framed the farewell as one she wanted to deliver with grace, grit, and glitter.

Hall said she began writing the story in 2009 from the kitchen table of her little apartment in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC, long before P-Valley made the jump to the screen. The series grew out of her play Pussy Valley, and the final season now gives her the chance to draw the curtain where she wants it, not where the calendar forces it.

The last stretch is not set up like a slow goodbye. The newly opened Promised Land Casino is flooding Chucalissa with scrilla, Uncle Clifford is trying to expand her empire back at The Pynk, Roulette breaks the club’s cardinal rule to build hers, Lil’ Murda’s gang ties threaten to clip his wings, and Keyshawn fights to break free and take flight. That mix suggests the ending will still move fast, even as it closes the door on the series.

What makes the end notable is the balance it strikes: a final season, a fixed date, and a creator who says the decision was hers. After four years away, P-Valley comes back with enough story left for one last run, and enough certainty to make the finish line the point.
