Snapple is turning Pete Davidson and Colin Jost's decommissioned Staten Island Ferry into a one-day-only comedy club on Sept. 17, 2026, and the only way in will be a limited pool of free tickets. The show, called the Snapple Island Ferry, will run for 60 minutes and is aimed at New Yorkers looking for a break that is, by design, a little absurd.
That is why the search for Snapple Island Ferry Tickets starts now. Free ticket pairs will be released daily at 3 p.m. ET from Sept. 3 through Sept. 8, and each person can claim just one pair at. Davidson and Jost will host the show themselves, while some of comedy's fastest rising stars are set to perform sets aboard the ferry.
Brad Smith called the Snapple Island Ferry a simple idea with a big payoff, and said the brand wants to give people a timely, entertaining break from what they feel they should be doing. Davidson, for his part, said turning the ferry into a floating comedy club makes more sense than anything else they considered, even if it still does not make much sense.
That last part fits the whole pitch. The ferry is being sold as a free gift to New Yorkers, but the giveaway is tightly rationed, which means the event is open to the public in theory and scarce in practice. The Stand Group is producing the show, and Snapple says it will share clips and other content from the event across social channels after the one-night run.
So the real deadline is not Sept. 17. It is the first ticket drop on Sept. 3 at 3 p.m. ET, when the first small batch of free pairs goes live and the rest of the announcement turns into a race.
