Erin Andrews says she and Jarret Stoll are still trying for a second baby, even after a surrogate miscarriage in May 2025. She said the process at 48 has been harder than she expected, but she is not backing away from it. “I’m not done,” she said, describing a conversation with her doctor that made her determination plain.
That update matters because Andrews has been open about how much the road to Mack already cost her family. She and Stoll welcomed their son via a surrogate in July 2023 after a multiyear fertility journey, and the latest setback did not end the effort. Instead, it left them in the same uncertain place many families know well: wanting another child, but not having a clear finish line.
Andrews has tied this chapter of her life to a deeper one that began in September 2016, when she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Doctors declared her cancer-free in 2017 after two operations, and this month marks ten years since that diagnosis. She said the memory is still sharp because it began with a routine screening, no symptoms, and a text message from her gynecologist telling her to call while she was sitting in a hotel meeting room on a Saturday.
That history helps explain why she is speaking so directly now. Andrews is also working with Cancerguard to raise awareness for its multi-cancer early detection test, which uses a single blood draw to detect over 50 types and subtypes of cancer and is meant to complement routine screenings. Her point is not only that she has been through a lot, but that she still believes in pushing forward, even when the answer is not the one she wants.
The unanswered part is the one that matters most for now. Andrews has confirmed that she and Stoll are still trying for baby No. 2, but has not said whether the couple is pursuing another surrogate or a different fertility approach. What is clear is that the effort is continuing, and that after cancer, surgery and one miscarriage, she is treating the next step as part of the same fight.
