has put C.J. Stroud, Kendre Miller and Germie Bernard at the center of its Week 7 fantasy football free-agent board, pointing managers toward players available in at least half of standard leagues. The list is meant for waiver claims now, and it arrives with bye weeks already reshaping lineups.

Stroud is the cleanest quarterback play on the board. He has scored 20 fantasy points for three straight games, followed a 312-yard, three-touchdown performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, and is averaging 18.7 fantasy points, which ranks sixth among quarterbacks. The Texans get the New York Giants in Week 7, and that matchup gives fantasy managers a reason to act before the market tightens.

Miller is also forcing attention. He has posted nine fantasy points in consecutive games, and in the Saints' latest outing he handled 20 rushing attempts for 70 yards while Alvin Kamara scored on a long touchdown reception. The Saints face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7, and that workload gives Miller a path to volume again even if the passing game keeps siphoning off touchdowns.

Bernard may be the clearest example of why waiver timing matters. He caught 11 passes for 87 yards and a touchdown in Pittsburgh's overtime win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, then went from 3% rostered to a far more widely held stash after being featured in the column one week earlier. says this should be the last week Bernard is available in more than 50% of leagues, which is why his free-agent budget suggestion matters more than a simple add-drop note.

That budget guidance is where the list becomes more useful than a hot-name roundup. Kyler Murray comes out of his bye at 48.6% rostered and 3% FAB, Aaron Rodgers is listed at 26.2% rostered and 2% FAB after his 16.02 points in an overtime win over the Buccaneers, and Michael Penix Jr. sits at 11.2% rostered and 1% FAB after a season-best 23.1 points in Atlanta's loss to the Chicago Bears. The hierarchy tells fantasy managers how aggressively to bid, not just whom to target.

There is also a sharp edge to the week: Josh Allen, Jayden Daniels, Trevor Lawrence and Justin Herbert are all on bye for Week 7, yet Herbert is still described as a player to drop rather than hold. That fits the larger logic of the list, which is built around availability and short-term usefulness, not name value. It also explains why Stroud, Miller and Bernard matter now, while Week 8 planning already looms for Stroud, Brock Purdy and Tyler Shough. For managers staring at open roster spots, the next move is simple: claim the players who can help before the week starts, because the market for them is moving faster than the calendar.
