The move came hours after Kamu Kirk was evicted, and it put three more players in immediate danger while Dee kept Yash off the block.
That is why Big Brother tonight is focused on the same question the house is asking: who is protected, who is exposed and how long the newest deal will hold. Yash accepted Dee’s $5K BB Bribe earlier today, a swap that keeps him safe this week but also ties him to a future promise not to nominate Dee and Rick Devens if he later wins Head of Household. It is the kind of compact that can shape a week before the veto even enters the conversation.
Drew’s name mattered because he had just entered the Time Capsule after America voted to give him the final power or punishment of Season 28, and that trip ended with him winning the Never-Not Pass. The prize is useful, but only in one narrow way: it keeps him from becoming a Have-Not for the rest of the summer. When the live feeds came back around 4:30 p.m. PT, LaTrice, Mallory Aurichio and Taylor were already Have-Nots, and by around 6 p.m. the block was clear — Drew, LaTrice and Taylor were the three nominees.
Dee did not arrive there without hesitation. She had considered Drew for the third spot, but Barrett Pfeiffer warned her that a move against him would irritate Dee’s newer Mosh Pit allies, Mallory Aurichio and Melody Morris. That warning mattered because Dee had already shown she was willing to take shots at alliance members in Week 1, when she nominated Mallory, Taylor and Yash and watched Ashley Trail go out as the renom instead. The pattern is plain now: Dee is willing to nominate hard, but she is still weighing the cost of making the wrong person angry.
The result leaves Dee in command and three players waiting for the next turn of the wheel. CBS was set to air the nominations ceremony on Sunday night, and the only real open question is whether Yash’s bribe buys him more than a week of safety once the house starts thinking about the next Head of Household.
