Hjalte Froholdt moved from questionable to a full participant and will play for the Arizona Cardinals against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. That is the change that matters now: Arizona gets its center back at the exact point the roster starts to tighten.
Froholdt had been listed as questionable all week before Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, so his upgrade was the clearest sign yet that the Cardinals would have one of the most important pieces of their offensive line available. When a center goes from uncertain to active, the effect is bigger than a single name on a depth chart; it steadies the middle of the line and lets the rest of the unit settle into place.
The Cardinals also elevated Jared Harrison-Hunte and Kenny Yeboah from the practice squad before the game. Harrison-Hunte, at 6-foot-4 and 294 pounds, is in line to back up L.J. Collier at left defensive end, while Yeboah, listed at 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds, will join Trey McBride, Elijah Higgins and Teagan Quitoriano and is most likely to contribute on special teams. Those moves give Arizona two more bodies for Sunday, which is what teams often need when the schedule turns demanding.
But the roster picture is not fully clean. Walter Nolen remains out, even as Froholdt returns and the Cardinals add depth with the practice-squad elevations. That leaves Arizona with help in some spots and a hole in another, a reminder that one upgrade does not erase every problem at once.
That is why Froholdt’s status stands out more than a routine injury update. The Cardinals are entering a pivotal stretch, and having their center available before Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys gives them a better chance to line up the way they want when the ball is snapped. The next thing to watch is whether that stability shows up immediately in how the Cardinals use the middle of their offensive line.
