Lamar Jackson will play in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills, settling the biggest question around the Baltimore Ravens heading into Sunday. The Ravens have listed Jackson to start, and the answer fans were looking for is simple: he is in.
That matters now because the question has been tied to Week 8 coverage all week, with The NFL Report and NFL Network's Lance Zierlein previewing the Baltimore Ravens vs. Buffalo Bills matchup. For readers searching whether Lamar Jackson is playing today, the update removes the uncertainty and puts the focus back on the game itself.
The availability note is also the key detail in the story. Jackson is expected to take the field even with ankle pain mentioned as part of the backdrop, which means Baltimore is willing to move forward with its quarterback rather than hold him out. In practical terms, that leaves little room for debate about the Ravens' direction for this matchup.
The only unanswered piece is how much Jackson will be asked to carry once the game begins. The confirmed news is his status, not a workload limit, and that is the part to watch next as Week 8 arrives and the Baltimore Ravens face the Buffalo Bills.
