Miranda Lambert will perform live at AT&T Stadium during the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game against the Philadelphia Eagles, taking the halftime stage for the 30th consecutive Salvation Army Red Kettle Kickoff. The game will air on Fox at 3:30 p.m. CST, putting a Texas-born star at the center of one of the NFL's most familiar holiday broadcasts.

Lampbert said there is something special about how music brings people together, especially when it helps spread joy and hope to families who need it most. She also said she cannot wait to be back home in Texas this Thanksgiving to help carry forward the Red Kettle Kickoff, a tradition that has become one of the Dallas Cowboys' most recognizable annual events.

That is why this halftime booking matters more than a standard holiday show. It is built as a fundraiser as much as a performance, tying a nationally televised game to The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign, which is now in its 136th year and has raised more than $3.4 billion over the last three decades. Charlotte Jones said the kickoff is one of the Dallas Cowboys' proudest traditions, while Commissioner Merle Heatwole said it has brought the spirit of giving to a national audience for the last three decades.

The tradition began in 1997, when Reba McEntire headlined the inaugural show, and it has since featured artists including Destiny's Child, Carrie Underwood, the Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez, Dolly Parton, Lainey Wilson and Post Malone. Charlotte Jones said the organization is grateful to Lambert for joining that legacy, and Heatwole said the campaign gives people a simple way to support neighbors in need. The next signal to watch is the kickoff itself: when the Thanksgiving Day game starts on Fox, the halftime stage will again turn a football broadcast into a public appeal for donations.
