Hulu has released a new trailer for The Land, the football TV series about the Cleveland Browns, and set the drama to debut on February 15, 2027. The nearly two-minute preview puts William H. Macy's Hal Durkin at the center of a family fight over the franchise, while Christopher Meloni's Danny Roarke gets one last chance to rescue a season that has already gone wrong.
That timing matters because the trailer is the first substantial look at a series built around a team, a coach and a family all pulling in different directions. Macy plays Hal Durkin, the owner of the Cleveland Browns, while Mandy Moore and Chloe Bennet play his daughters, the two people he must weigh as possible successors. Chace Crawford, Sam Corlett, Tanner Zagarino, Bridget Moynahan and Omar Epps also appear in the cast, and Aerosmith's “Dream On” runs through the trailer like a warning signal.
Roarke's problem is bigger than a bad stretch of football. His fate rests on a newly drafted Ohio State quarterback who is also his son, which turns a pressure-packed season into a personal test as well. Hal is dealing with a different kind of risk: he has to decide which of his two daughters is best equipped to take over the team, even as the franchise seems to need a turnaround immediately.
That split is what gives The Land its edge. The show is being sold as an NFL drama about the Cleveland Browns, but the trailer makes clear that the real conflict stretches from the field to the front office and then into the family itself. The Browns need a winning season now, Danny needs a miracle, and Hal has to choose a successor before the balance of power inside the team shifts again. If the trailer is the promise, the February 15, 2027 debut is the deadline.
