Sarah Jane Nader and Hailey Bills are already pulling focus before they ever step onto the live stage together on DWTS. A string of rehearsal clips and photos posted over several days shows the pair hand-holding, moving in sync and leaning into a playful chemistry that has turned their pre-debut buildup into its own moment.
The attention makes sense because the pair are not just any new contestants. They are only the third same-sex couple in Dancing With The Stars' 35-season run, and the second all-female pairing, with Sarah Jane Nader described as a bisexual reality star and model and Bills serving as her first-time pro partner. That has made every rehearsal post feel like a preview of something the show has rarely offered before.
The posts began on September 10, when Bills shared a video of the two on the floor of a rehearsal space and captioned it, “When you officially met 2 weeks ago and know everything ab[out] each other.” By then, the pair had already settled on a team name, calling themselves “Estrogenz,” a fitting label for the kind of easy, teasing energy they have been showing online.
More evidence followed fast. A later clip showed Nader and Bills holding hands and strutting in sync to Waka Flocka Flame’s “No Hands,” while a carousel on Nader’s account included two photos of Bills wrapping an arm around her waist and hips. On September 13, Nader posted another video with Bills and Amber Glenn on the DWTS stage, and on September 14 she shared a clip of the two trying “The Cup Song” in matching black workout tanks.
Still, the pair have not officially debuted live together on the show. That gap is why the posts are landing so hard: the chemistry is already public, but the performance itself is still ahead. During the season 35 premiere week, the male contestants were slated to perform first on ABC, with the female contestants scheduled for September 16, which leaves Nader and Bills waiting for the moment that will turn the online buzz into an actual debut.
For now, the story is less about a routine than about anticipation. The answer to what Nader and Bills will do when they finally hit the floor has not been revealed, but the buildup has already made them one of the season’s early talking points before a single live step together has been shown.
