The news lands now because viewers are already looking past the first five seasons, which are streaming on Apple TV, and toward the next chapter on the calendar: Slow Horses Season 6 is set to premiere on September 16, 2026. Apple TV had already announced season seven last year, so the series is being mapped well in advance rather than left to drift between releases.
