Krys Marshall is keeping her Emmys prep simple ahead of the 2026 ceremony on Sept. 14, leaning on water, facials and sleep while still leaving room for a full glam finish when the night arrives. The 37-year-old, who plays Secret Service Special Agent Nicole Robinson in Paradise, said she is trying to stay hydrated, get good rest and avoid the kinds of beauty treatments she does not use.
That matters now because Paradise is headed into awards season with a major nomination for Outstanding Drama Series, and Marshall is part of the cast drawing attention as the big night approaches. She said her routine is less about dramatic last-minute changes and more about keeping her skin calm, with hydrating eye patches from Peter Thomas Roth and a newer Korean skincare brand, Yepoda, which she described as clean, vegan and gentle.
Marshall also made clear that low-maintenance does not mean no effort. She called herself pretty low-maintenance for the most part, but said she likes to get makeup on and loves a full glam look on Emmys night. Even her pre-show touch-ups are practical: she said, “I got my polish,” after talking through the kind of beauty prep she prefers.
The balance gets harder when her home life is added into the mix. Marshall said she shares a 3-year-old son and a 7-month-old son with Ted Dolan, and that she started season three eight weeks after her baby was born, which left her feeling “crazy” while juggling work and family. After wrapping Paradise, she said she and her family went to Spain for a few weeks, then she popped into New York Fashion Week.
For Marshall, motherhood is part of what keeps the whole thing steady. She said it grounds her most, and that on big days it helps to give her children a bath and read them stories the night before so she can remember who she is outside the noise. Paradise already has awards heat behind it, with Sterling K. Brown nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, James Marsden in Supporting Actor and Julianne Nicholson in Supporting Actress, while Shailene Woodley won Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys on Sept. 6. When the 2026 Emmys arrive, Marshall plans to show up polished, rested and fully present.
