Sepultura has moved its final concert in São Paulo to Suhai Music Hall, pulling the farewell show off Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu before the band’s November 7 date. The shift cuts the room for the event from roughly 26,000 people to just over 9,000, turning a large-scale sendoff into a much tighter night for the fans who get in.
The change matters now because the farewell is close enough to put every ticket holder on notice. Tickets bought for the original venue will remain valid, and refunds will be available for anyone who cannot make the new location. Krisiun, Sacred Reich and Metal Allegiance are still set to appear, so the lineup around the main event has not changed even as the room itself has.
Jean Dolabella is expected to take part in the farewell event, alongside other former Sepultura members and musicians linked to the band’s history, including Jairo Guedz. That keeps the show tied to the group’s past as well as its end, with the final concert framed as a closing chapter after 40 years.
What has not been explained is why the move happened. No reason has been given for the smaller hall, even though the original venue could hold nearly three times as many people. Live Nation Brasil shared a post about the change, but the practical effect is already clear: Sepultura’s last night in São Paulo is now being staged as a more limited event, and the biggest unanswered detail is whether more fans will be able to get through the doors before November 7.
