Arkansas has its 2027 baseball schedule in place, and the trip that will draw the most attention comes in late April: a road SEC series at Texas from April 23-25. The Razorbacks’ slate runs to 56 regular-season games and 10 Southeastern Conference series, giving Dave Van Horn a full roadmap for his 25th season as head coach.
That is why fans are already searching the Texas Longhorns Schedule. The dates are now set months ahead of first pitch, and the April series in Texas lands in the middle of a conference stretch that will shape the race for the SEC Tournament in Hoover, Ala. Arkansas also begins the year with a three-game series against Butler from Feb. 19-21, then keeps moving through a demanding early run that includes South Dakota State, a neutral-site stretch at Globe Life Field and an SEC opener at Ole Miss.
The rest of the calendar shows how tightly packed the year will be. Arkansas will host Alabama, LSU, Auburn and Kentucky, travel to Tennessee, Texas A&M and Mississippi State, and finish the regular season with a road series at Mississippi State from May 20-22 before the SEC Tournament from May 25-30. The schedule also includes nonconference games against Missouri State, Arkansas State, UCA, Little Rock, Memphis and Grambling, along with a March trip that sends Arkansas to Globe Life Field for games against Iowa, Oregon, Oregon State and Tarleton State.
Van Horn’s team enters that schedule with momentum. Arkansas finished 41-22 overall and 17-13 in SEC play in 2026, its ninth straight 40-win season, and the program has won 424 games since 2017, the most in the country over that span. That history explains why every date now matters, even if the dates themselves may still shift for television.
And that is the catch inside the release: the calendar is set, but not locked in stone. Television can still move individual games, including the possibility that some SEC series open on Thursdays. For now, though, Arkansas knows where the next year leads, and the first stop is Butler.
