Auburn Athletics is changing the look and feel of gameday for the 2026 season at Jordan-Hare Stadium, rolling out new concessions, an expanded south student concourse and a new Tiger Walk Plaza as construction on the Jordan-Hare North Project moves ahead. The update is not just cosmetic. It will alter how fans enter, move and gather around the stadium on Saturdays.
Rhett Hobart said the school sees a duty to keep investing in an experience that makes fans want to be in Jordan-Hare Stadium every Saturday, and the new plans are meant to do just that. Auburn is also refreshing in-venue production, adding new gameday experiences across campus and at Plainsman Park, and building a new home for the Tiger Tailgate Show as part of an enhanced pregame setup that includes live music and a new video board.
The timing explains why the Auburn football schedule 2026 is drawing early attention. Construction is already underway, so the changes are arriving before the season begins, not after it, and the school is asking fans to “Pardon Our Progress” while the work continues. Auburn says the enhanced pregame experience will spread activity beyond the stadium itself, giving fans more places to watch college football, buy food and beverages and settle into the gameday atmosphere before heading to Jordan-Hare Stadium.
That wider footprint is also where the friction shows up. Hobart said the Jordan-Hare North Project will bring temporary challenges, including changes to pedestrian traffic, tailgating areas and other familiar routines around the stadium. The interior of Jordan-Hare Stadium will also feel different as the project takes shape, which means some of the paths fans know best will not work the same way in 2026.
Plainsman Park will remain part of the flow, opening at 10 a.m. CT for evening and afternoon games and 7:30 a.m. CT for morning games so fans have another place to gather before walking to Jordan-Hare Stadium. The message from Auburn is plain: the 2026 season will come with more options, more movement and more disruption at the same time, and the payoff is supposed to be a gameday environment built for the long run rather than the next Saturday alone.
