Lily Collins has finally confirmed what many fans had already guessed: she is set to play Audrey Hepburn in an upcoming project. She announced the news on Instagram in February 2026, saying it came after almost 10 years of development and a lifetime of admiration for Hepburn.
The timing matters because Collins has been compared with Hepburn since her breakthrough in The Blind Side in 2009, and the resemblance has only become more pronounced as she has leaned into looks that echo the screen icon. In December 2025, she appeared at the Paris premiere of Season 5 of Emily in Paris in a black Giorgio Armani Privé gown; in June 2025, she wore a wide-brimmed brown bucket hat at Roland Garros in Paris; and in September 2025, she turned up in a strawberry and cherry print dress. Side-by-side photos of the two women, with similar hairstyles and red lipstick, have circulated for years.
Collins has also said before that Audrey shaped her taste early. In 2017, she said her admiration for Givenchy began because of Hepburn, adding that she had loved the brand since she was little for that reason.
