Jade Cargill pinned Charlotte Flair with Jaded on Sunday Night’s Main Event, giving the Baddies a six-woman tag team win over Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley. The finish came after Flair had nearly swung the match her way.
That result is the reason Cargill’s name is getting searched now: she did not just win, she pinned Charlotte clean after a long sequence that put both teams in danger. Flair had been the one threatening to take control before the end, which makes the finish harder for her side to swallow and more useful for Cargill’s momentum.
The match opened with Paxley and B-FAB trading a heated exchange, and B-FAB pushed Paxley in the face before taking a hard slap back. Paxley answered with a front kick and a somersault kick for an early near fall, then Michin tagged in after an elbow from B-FAB and Bliss fired back with strikes and a basement dropkick to B-FAB. Flair later took over with boots, chops and a German suplex to Michin, then added a handspring lariat and a top-rope hurricanrana for another near fall before Natural Selection got only a two count.
Flair almost turned the whole thing after a top-rope moonsault onto both opponents and a setup for the Figure Eight, but the opening never fully closed. Cargill slipped in on a blind tag, floored Flair with a kick, hit a spinning powerbomb from an Argentine backbreaker position and then finished the match with Jaded when Flair escaped a boot, landed a superkick and started to lock in the hold. B-FAB also sent Bliss into the steel steps in the closing moments, leaving Flair alone to take the pin.
The win fits the kind of result that can matter in wrestling: a direct pinfall over Flair, not a scramble or a lucky escape. It also leaves one small point hanging. The group of Cargill, B-FAB and Michin appears to be the Baddie Section, but the match did not spell out whether that is an official team name or a nickname. For now, the part that is certain is the one that counts most for Cargill — she beat Flair, and she beat her with Jaded.
