Those names matter less as labels than as a measure of timing: they are still bedding in, which means the side is adding quality while trying to keep its rhythm intact.
That balance makes this a useful test for Liam Rosenior’s team as much as for Troyes. A squad with fresh faces can improve quickly, but only if the new pieces start to fit the existing structure instead of interrupting it, and Strasbourg’s trip to the Stade de l'Aube arrives before the margin for a slow start gets smaller.
There is also a twist in Troyes’ favour: they are already showing they can win away, yet the home ground has not delivered the same return. If they can solve that problem on Sunday, the victory would do more than add three points; it would tell the rest of the division that ESTAC’s positive return is carrying over from one venue to the next.
