Volos Vs Olympiacos ticket demand surges ahead of Saturday's match

Olympiacos supporters have already bought half of the available tickets for Volos vs Olympiacos at Panthessaliko Stadium, doing so in less than two days ahead of Saturday's 19:00 kickoff in matchday 3 of the Stoiximan Super League.

The quick sales point to a strong away presence for a league match that still sits in early September, with the club chasing a third win in as many matchdays. Fans who want to join them need a membership card or a fan card before they can secure a ticket.

That is why the timing matters now. Even as the weekend effectively closes the summer season, demand has not eased, and the pace of sales suggests Olympiacos supporters intend to turn Panthessaliko into a louder away ground than usual.

A special booth will be set up at the Volos Palace hotel on Friday, September 4, from 18:00 to 21:00 and again on Saturday, September 5, from 10:00 to 16:00 to issue the required cards. That gives supporters a narrow window before the match, and it is the clearest next step for anyone still hoping to buy in.

Evangelos Marinakis has also reiterated his support for Olympiacos' squad and Mendilibar, adding another layer of momentum around the club as it goes into the game. Olympiacos already knows its eight Europa League opponents, but for now the immediate focus is on Volos and the chance to keep its perfect league start intact.

The open question is not whether interest is real; half the tickets are already gone. It is how far that demand will go before Saturday night, and whether the final crowd at Panthessaliko ends up matching the early rush from Olympiacos fans.
