Gleb Savchenko’s custody fight with Elena Samodanova has grown more bitter after she said their daughter Olivia is living in a property connected to his girlfriend, Trujillo. The dispute now turns not just on where the teenager should live, but on whether the home she is in is stable and safe.
That question matters now because Samodanova says she learned Olivia’s location only after a court order forced Savchenko to provide an address and contact information. She says the address confirmed that their teenage daughter is staying in a property owned by his girlfriend rather than in a permanent home maintained by him, deepening a legal fight that has already crossed into international proceedings.
The latest dispute is part of a longer custody battle between Savchenko and Samodanova, who lives in Hong Kong and is seeking to have Olivia returned there. Savchenko was first linked romantically to Trujillo in January after they were photographed kissing following his split from Brooks Nader, which is why the girlfriend’s property is now at the center of the case. Olivia is nearly 16 years old and turns 16 in November, making her own wishes more important in both parents’ public accounts of what should happen next.
Samodanova says the arrangement is not just unfamiliar, but unsafe and unstable. She said the homeowner works in the adult-entertainment industry and argued that the issue is Savchenko’s judgment as a father. Savchenko has taken the opposite view, saying Olivia is safe, supported and surrounded by people who care for her, and that her own wishes about where she lives should be heard.
He has also said he will handle the matter through the courts rather than publicly, and he has expressed disappointment that his girlfriend and her personal life have been pulled into the dispute. The next phase belongs to the legal system: Samodanova says she will continue through every legal channel available to bring her daughter back to Hong Kong, while Savchenko is seeking emergency custody and has accused her in court documents of abducting the children there.
For now, the case is no longer just about a custody filing. It is about a teenager’s home, a court order, and two parents who are telling the world very different things about where Olivia is safest.
