PlayStation has given the first look at the Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle, a PS5 Digital Edition package that pairs the console with a matching DualSense wireless controller and a game code for Marvel’s Wolverine. The reveal also brings a separate Battle Yellow controller, plus PS5 and PS5 Pro console covers for existing owners.
The bundle is built around Insomniac’s Battle Reborn suit and claws, with a yellow finish and claw-slashed design that ties the hardware directly to the game’s version of Logan. It is the kind of themed release that turns a game launch into something fans can hold, not just watch, and PlayStation says the bundle will be available globally.
That is also why the timing matters. Last month, Insomniac Games and Marvel Games shared new Marvel’s Wolverine details at San Diego Comic-Con, and this first look follows that show of force with hardware meant to sit beside the game itself. Jock worked with PlayStation, Insomniac Games, and Marvel Games on the design, and his own words explain the pull: he wanted Wolverine at his fiercest, still draws all his artwork traditionally, and liked the chance to mix hand-drawn ink with cutting-edge hardware.
The art side is not just window dressing. Jock said he was stunned by how well the console and accessories captured the raw energy of the drawing, which is the clearest sign that this release is being sold as more than a coat of paint. PlayStation is also extending the line with PS5 Pro Console Covers – Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition, a metallic version, and a matching DualSense Wireless Controller – Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition, giving buyers a second look built around adamantium rather than Battle Yellow.
The one thing PlayStation is not spelling out is when the set will go on sale or what it will cost. The bundle is described as globally available, but the PS5 and PS5 Pro console covers are only promised in limited quantities through select retailers outside regions, which means not every part of the lineup is being treated the same way. For fans looking at the Marvel Wolverine PS5 console family, the hardware is real; the calendar and the price remain the missing pieces.
