For players on the higher-priced tiers, the first one lands immediately; for everyone on Essential or Premium, it does not.
The split is the point. Beast of Reincarnation is one of the marquee releases in the August lineup, but its day-one access is locked behind Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, which cost $22.99 per month and $13.99 per month, while Essential and Premium sit at $9.99 per month and $14.99 per month. That makes the month feel generous at the top and more selective at the bottom, even before the next release arrives.
Kota Furushima directed a game set in Japan in the year 4026, and that detail has helped make Beast of Reincarnation one of the month’s most closely watched releases.
