Kendra Wilkinson said a client fired her as their real estate agent on July 26, and she broke down about it on Instagram Stories. The 41-year-old said the setback hit hard after what she described as all the work she had put in.
“Ya. I’m struggling today guys,” she wrote, adding that “it’s hard right now” and that she is trying to keep her family first. Wilkinson said, “I’m raising my kids. I’m putting them first. I’m doing everything good.”
The timing made the post land with force. Wilkinson has built a new career in real estate after earning her license in June 2020, and she has spent the last few years talking openly about how hard that switch has been. Her real estate work also became the focus of Kendra Sells Hollywood, which ran for two seasons on Discovery+ between 2021 and 2023.
What she described on July 26 was more than one bad client. Wilkinson said it felt like a pattern: “it’s just such a struggle right now finding people to work with me, getting fired, people being rude and mean—it’s taking a toll.” That frustration came after she had already told followers on June 6 that she did not feel good, felt tired and lost, and sensed there was “no room for me” at times even when she did her part of the job.
There is also a personal edge to the strain. Wilkinson has said she went into real estate to support her family after her 2019 divorce from Hank Baskett, and she has been balancing that work with raising Hank and Alijah. In the same stretch of posts, she said she was grateful for the positive messages she was getting and tried to reset: “Today was a rough one, but I put in some eye drops, put on my face, and I’m ready to take on a new day.”
What remains unresolved is the most basic question in the story: why the client fired her. Wilkinson did not say whether the decision was about performance or something else, and she did not point to a new deal or replacement client. For now, she is left trying to push past another public setback in a career she says she still wants to keep fighting for.
