Raising Cane’s is marking National Chicken Finger Day on Monday, July 27, with a free chicken finger for eligible Caniac Club Members and Hot Fresh News subscribers who buy a box combo. The chain is also tying the one-day promotion to a $1 donation to Kickstart Kids for every box combo sold that day.
The timing is the point. National Chicken Finger Day falls on Monday, July 27, and Raising Cane’s founder Todd Graves is credited with creating it in 2010, giving the chain a built-in reason to turn the date into a customer offer that lasts only while the calendar says July 27.
For the free chicken finger, the requirement is simple but narrow: a customer has to be a Caniac Club Member or a Hot Fresh News subscriber and still make a box combo purchase. That makes the giveaway less like a broad public promo and more like a reward for people already inside Raising Cane’s orbit, which is why the holiday matters most to regulars who track the brand’s offers.
The holiday also sits in the middle of a bigger late-July streak for chicken deals. National Chicken Wing Day is celebrated every July 29, and that date comes with a cluster of promotions from other chains. Buffalo Wild Wings says it will give away six free wings with any $15 minimum purchase on July 29, while also launching a limited-edition merch collection on Monday, July 27.
There is one oddity in that schedule. The same Buffalo Wild Wings deal is tied to National Chicken Day in one place and National Chicken Wing Day in another, even though the wing holiday itself is the one widely marked on July 29. The date and the offer line up; the label does not. That matters because shoppers looking for a one-day wing deal need to know which holiday is actually being used to unlock it.
Other chains are moving on the same Wednesday. Bonchon will sell five wings for $5 through Bonchon.com, the Bonchon app or participating restaurants nationwide, and Pilot locations nationwide will offer five jumbo wings for $5 if customers have or download the Pilot App. The promotions make the last week of July a crowded stretch for wing deals, with the finger holiday on July 27 setting up the wing holiday two days later.
Raising Cane’s has two Michigan locations, in Canton and Ann Arbor, and another is coming to Novi in August. For Michigan customers, that gives the National Chicken Finger Day offer local weight, but only for one day and only for people who meet the purchase rules. After Monday passes, the next clear marker is the wave of National Chicken Wing Day promotions on July 29.
