That date is why players are searching now. Big Walk is not just another download tucked into a monthly roster. It is the next adventure from the creator of Untitled Goose Game, and Sony has made clear that Essential games are yours to keep once claimed. In practice, that means subscribers know exactly when the game becomes available, and they know it will land on the same day in all regions.
Big Walk was first announced in February during PlayStation State of Play, and its pitch has stayed focused on cooperation from the start. Sony describes it as a multiplayer adventure about teamwork and talking, set in a wide-open world full of challenges, puzzles and discoveries. The official description also says players will need to work together to find their way around, stay in contact using an assortment of tools and toys, and figure out new ways to communicate when they suddenly find themselves speechless.
