Pennsylvania State Police say Kenneth Baldwin admitted exposing himself to a boy on three separate occasions and sending nude images after meeting the 15-year-old at a church in Pennsylvania in November 2024. Investigators also said the pastor later sent sexually explicit images multiple times a week for about a year and added several more pictures in recent weeks.
The allegations put a pastor at Crossroads Baptist Church in Bailey's Crossroads at the center of a case that police say may reach beyond one teenager. Baldwin, an Alexandria resident, is accused of exchanging phone numbers with the boy after a sermon and then keeping up the contact over time, turning what began in a church setting into an investigation that now includes concerns about other children.
Police have not said what specific charges Baldwin faces, and no court action was detailed in the information released. But they said the case became more serious after Baldwin was questioned and admitted exposing himself to the victim on three separate occasions in three separate states and sending nude images of himself to the boy.
That account collided with the reaction from D.R. Harrison, who said Baldwin was the last person he expected to be tied up in something like this. Harrison said Baldwin was not just a preacher to “10 people in a small country church in the South,” but someone known much more widely, and called the allegations heartbreaking and crushing for teenagers who looked up to him.
Police believe Baldwin shared explicit images with other children and are asking any other victims to come forward. Attempts to reach Baldwin for comment were not returned, and Crossroads Baptist Church also did not reply to requests for comment. For now, the unanswered question is how many children may be part of the case beyond the 15-year-old who first spoke with Baldwin in Pennsylvania.
